Baker's Cottage Roasted Chicken

I trust that the place that more people yearn for must be fun; the food that more people yearn for must be delicious, how about you? One month ago, there was a shop open near my house and my family heard from some neighbours that the food sold was delicious and cheap!? Under the instigation of curiosity and deliciousness, we went to the shop and checked out what is so special on a rainy evening.

The name of the shop is Baker's Cottage, which was originally a bakery shop. Their flagship products are cakes and bread but we actually went there to buy their Roasted chicken. I actually went to Baker’s Cottage before, but I really don’t know that they did sell roasted chicken, this is the first time we went there and bought the roasted chicken. They have two flavours of chicken, which are BBQ and black pepper. Because of the new opening and also the effects of MCO, they did a promotion on the roasted chicken hoping to attract more customers, this also causes that people need to queue up a long lane in front of the Baker’s Cottage to wait for the chicken to be ready. No matter how long the queue is, I am willing to queue up just for delicious food!

After an hour, I successfully bought two roasted chicken! As I mentioned before, Baker’s Cottage originally sells cakes and bread but because of the MCO period, the choices are not that much and also not that attractive. Although the bread is not attractive, I think that the cakes still look good, especially the Tiramisu cake. Unfortunately, I didn’t plan to buy any cakes, my main purpose was also not the cakes, so I just went back home after I bought the roasted chicken.

Although I did not try the cakes that day, but I still want to make a recommendation on Baker's Cottage cake. In all of the flavour, I like the Tiramisu cake the most. This Tiramisu cake tastes not so sweet and adult will like it very much. Normally Tiramusi cakes gave me a bad image but this Tiramusi cake just soft and fluffy. It only cost RM45.99, enough for 10 people to have it. Personally, I think it was worth enough.

Baker’s cottage chicken sold RM16.95 each normally, but because of promotion, they sold RM10.95! Although its size is not big like the normal chicken we bought in the market, it is enough for four-person to have it. So without further ado, try it now! The taste of BBQ chicken just like normal roasted chicken, it’s a little bit sweet but won’t feel very greasy; Black pepper chicken tastes a bit spicy, but the range of spicy is able for kids to have it, no worries. Two of them have their own flavour, but I prefer BBQ chicken more.

The reason why I prefer BBQ more than black pepper is that I’m a lazy eater, so I especially like the chicken breast. BBQ’s chicken breast tasted juicier and tender.

Compared with black pepper, it is slightly dry and I think black pepper should be spicier than this? I’m having this meal with my family. I did do a survey among all of them. Most adults prefer black pepper chicken because they think that black pepper is tastier, but BBQ is just sweetness. Compared with the kids, they actually prefer BBQ chicken more because some of them don't like the taste of black pepper although it does not really taste spicy.

Last but not least, every eater may have their own points of view, every baker’s cottage outlet may also have their own difference.
